MLM Team Building Success is Determined By Your Paradigms

he majority of folks have no understanding what a paradigm is but that does not alter the fact that paradigms rule our success in life. Bob Proctor stated that paradigms are similar to the laws of the universe. He shared an example of a baby crawling off a balcony. The baby doesn't understand anything about gravity but desoite this the law of gravity states that anything heavier than air is drawn to the earth's center. From early childhood we are forming paradigms and then living by them.

Over the years I have spoke to so many people that described themselves by the paradigms they felt they were ruled by. I am certain you have heard associates say things like "I could sell ice to Eskimos." or "I am a people person." or ""Or I am not a sales person." or I am not a people person." "I can't sell." We all have paradigms that we live our lives by but the question is whether our paradigms serve us or limit us.

Let's look at the fellow that loses his job and has been unemployed for 5 months and can't find a new job despite his best efforts. He calls into a call center and requests for someone to call him back about a business opportunity. When he is shown a business that he can afford to start and would give him away to support himself again he turns the opportunity down. He does not say no to the business venture because of a lack of resources to get started. He allows a paradigm to stop him from getting back on his feet because his existing belief is that he cannot sell. By rejecting this venture he risks everything he has due to the financial pressure he is under.

He may not have made a go of this business had he went forward with it - there are no guarantees in life, but with the certainty of having nothing else to fall back on and his bills overtaking his savings banruptcy is a certainty also. It always baffles me how intelligent folks choose to do nothing and intentionally lose everything than to give the venture a shot and commit to making it work. Still these paradigms are powerful and can lead an individual to total self destruction if unchecked. Statistically people in general respond adversely to change and despite how limiting the current circumstances may be, it is more comfortable and predictable and just like a moth attracted to the light the attraction becomes its' nemisis. The top 5 % of our population challenge their paradigms. They scrutinize them and reshape any non-serving paradigms completely out of their life. They understand that to change your life you must change your life and so they change.

I would strongly recommend you to examine your paradigms and determine which ones you have that serve you and which ones do not. Develop yourself an action plan to embrace your life and face those things that make you feel unsettled. Bob Proctor gives the example of the golfer that alters his grip on the golf club. The new grip feels horrible but oddly enough the ball flies down the green landing only a few feet from the cup. The novice golfer could have chose to use a grip he felt the most comfortable with or select the new one and become a superior golfer. There are many activities that you are doing that feel safe and good but they are not serving and are limiting your MLM team building. So it is up to you, it is your choice and I know you will make the the one that will serve you. See you at the top!
